We highly recommend having protein balls on hand. They make a quick, healthy snack between meals or give your body a little boost of energy before/after a workout. 

These protein balls are a real treat, packed with the decadent flavours of figs, tahini, nuts, seeds and, of course, our delicious Raw Cacao Daily Protein powder. They taste more like a Mediterranean dessert than an energy-packed snack!

Activated Nutrients Fig and Tahini Protein Balls 
makes 12 balls

1 scoop Activated Nutrients Raw Cacao Daily Protein
5 dried figs
1/4 cup pepitas (green pumpkin seeds)
1 tablespoon tahini
2 tablespoons coconut oil
1/2 cup raw wlanuts
1 tablespoon honey (optional)

1/4 cup crushed pistachios (for rolling)

1. Put all ingredients except pistachios into a food processor and blitz for a couple minutes until well combined into a crumbly paste 
2. Roll into 12 balls 
3. Pour crushed pistachios onto a small plate and coat balls in the pistachio 
4. Put balls in the refrigerator for 20 minutes to set 

Store in the refrigerator in an airtight container.
